"Personally, I hate exercise. My experience with Amy motivated me to get
in the best shape of my adult life with a personal connection,
motivating me more. At this point I consider Amy more than a trainer,
but a positive friend." -Jon Bachman, age 41
"Amy approaches her trainer role as a professional and does not
waste any time. She listens with attention to your needs and then
designs a plan to meet them. I have been a gym rat for many years and
asked her for help designing different routines because I was in a rut
with my workout. She showed insight and flexibility at every step of the
way--and her trademark sense of humor as well! I became aware that I
needed more of a total body workout instead of the isolated routines
that I had practiced for years. I have a much more extensive repertoire
on which to draw when I go work out. Thank you so much, Jackson!" -Michele Stemler, age 60
"Last year I signed up to do personal
training with Amy after not belonging to a gym in over 25 years.
Needless to say, I was a bit nervous to jump back in. But she was so
good at finding a starting place for me, and pushing me from that point
forward. She was responsive and careful about working around any
injuries that I had developed from other aspects of my life (I am a
photographer and I often suffer from back injuries from schlepping heavy
gear around all the time and spending most of my days walking around
concrete floors). I think she does an amazing job of mixing up the
routines to round out the workouts. She also was able to get me on a
better diet and really emphasize the things I could work on, things I
could eliminate from my life that were not helpful, and she has a
genuine interest in her clients' well-being. She also has a great sense
of humor, which I really appreciated, especially because working out can
be such a tedious event without one." -Doug Hoeschler, age 44
"Three years ago I started getting serious about exercise when my doctor told me I had osteoporosis. Since then I've been doing yoga, cardio and weight bearing exercise on a regular basis. I've enlisted personal trainers from time to time to help me get stronger, vary my routine and show me the correct way to use weights and machines. Amy is the best and I highly recommend her! She has been a wonderful asset to me, exceeding my expectations. In a very considerate yet motivating way, she helped me see that I could lift a lot more weight than I had been while adding cardio to my lifting routine. In addition to exercise help, she has given me valuable dietary tips that have caused me to drop weight in my ab area and gain energy. Thanks Amy!
-Pam Asbaghi, age 57
Amy followed a trainer who I'd had a great relationship with, and I
wasn't looking forward to starting over with someone new. But Amy
quickly won me over with her knowledge of nutrition and her
understanding of what workouts were best for my body type and how best
to reach my goals. Today
I receive tons of compliments from family and friends with the
wonderful success I've gotten since I started working out with Amy. They ask what she has me doing to accomplish such radical changes
in such a short time. I went from a size 16 plus to wearing
size tens or mediums in both tops and jeans. The last time I was this
size was 27 years ago! Following her
nutritional advice, I have so much more energy and have lost a lot of
inches over all of my body. I can't thank her enough for her knowledge,
patience and friendship. For anyone wondering, this young woman is the
real deal!"
